Problems downloading or accessing FLIXACTING

If you encounter any issues requiring support, please browse to our Customer Support Portal and click “Submit a Ticket” for assistance. To enable us to help you most efficiently, please provide a detailed description of the problem, any error message you may have encountered, and information about the type of device and operating system you are using.

On the next screen, please describe the issue you are having and be sure to include the following information:

  • The type of device you are using (i.e., desktop, laptop, etc.,) Windows or MAC and the OS (operating system) installed on your device.
  • Screenshots of any error messages you have received.
How to purchase FLIXACTING

Order the book at flixacting.microangelo.com. The price is $39.95. There is no need to register on the site to purchase. Click on the cover of the book and a window will appear on the left. Click on “Add to Cart” and another window will open on the right. Click on “Checkout”. Fill out the information requested – please include the name of the university/school if applicable. Click on “Continue to Payment” to complete your purchase.

What Software will I need?

Adobe Digital Editions

Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) must be installed on your device to access FLIXACTING. Download and install the program directly from the Adobe site – www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html
If you do not already have one, you will need to Create an Adobe ID using the same email address you used when purchasing your eBook. (IMPORTANT: Please note that you will be unable to open your eBook if you choose the option, “I want to authorize my computer without an ID.”) You will then need to authorize your device.

 

Is there a hard copy?

FLIXACTING was designed and developed exclusively as a digital eBook with film clips embedded in the text. There is no hard copy of the book. Not designed to be on a Smartphone.

How does the license work?

Each user is licensing the eBook against a single email address tied to an Adobe account.  The user can download the eBook on up to three (3) devices, as long as the device(s) have Adobe Digital Editions installed and are authorized to the same email address used to purchase the eBook. The student must download the eBook within 30 days of purchase/licensing.

Is FLIXACTING ADA accessible?

Film clips with closed captions are available on request.
