Joe Olivieri

Joe Olivieri is Vice-Chair of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Theater at UCLA, where he heads the Undergraduate Acting Program. Prior to joining the faculty at UCLA, he was head of the MFA and BFA Acting programs in the School of Theatre and Dance at West Virginia University. Professor Olivieri holds an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater and a BS in Communications with an emphasis in Film Studies from Temple University. He has acted in regional theatre, television, independent film, and webisodes, and has directed in regional and university theatre. He is a founding member of Pacific Resident Theatre in Venice, California, where he directs and acts. Joe is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and Actors’ Equity Association (AEA). He is the author of Shakespeare without Fear: A User-Friendly Guide to Acting Shakespeare (2000), a textbook published by Harcourt College Publishers.

Catherine Telford

Catherine Telford is an actress and educator. She has acted and directed extensively in regional and university theatre, independent film, television, and webisodes. She was a principal actress in over fifty national and regional television commercials. Ms. Telford holds a BA in Theatre Arts and an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater. She has taught Acting and Acting for the Camera privately, as well as in the Department of Theater at UCLA and the School of Theatre and Dance at West Virginia University. She is also the founding Board President of Pacific Resident Theatre in Venice, California, where she is a resident member. Catherine is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
